Vorige maandag zat dit plezante boekje in de post, een bestelling van bookdepository: Creepy Cute Crochet van Needlenoodles. Ravelry is niet goed voor mijn bankrekening, maar wel voor mijn inspiratie. Ik had ook behoefte aan instant satisfaction projectjes. Zondag werkte ik de twee robotjes af, je merkt het verschil in grootte door het verschil in dikte van de draad. Waarom twee? Wel ik dacht dat de witte wol van de wibra goed ging zijn met de blauwe wol die ik over heb van het babytruitje. Alleen bleek die witte wol te dik en had ik geen zin om het af te trekken.



Last Monday there was a package from bookdepository: Creepy Cute Crochet from Needlenoodles. Ravelry is not good for my bank account, but very good for my inspiration. I needed some small instant satisfaction projects and these are ideal. On Sunday, I finished the two robots. Two different sizes, because of a different yarn. I thought the white yarn from Wibra would be just as thick as the leftover from the blue baby sweater, but it was too thick and I didn't feel like frogging, so two robots.

Het eerste haakprojectje was Cthulhu, ik had geen tijd om een foto te maken van het eindresultaat omdat ik het cadeau wou doen. Het is een heel aantrekkelijk boekje, ook voor niet-hakers. Mijn collega's waren alvast razend enthousiast, er was er zelfs eentje die een haaklunch wou organiseren. Ik heb heel wat bekijk in de trein en voor één keer in de positieve zin van het woord. Als ik zit te breien haalt men meestal de schouders op.



The first one was Cthulhu, I didn't have time to make a picture of the end result because I wanted to give it to someone. This book is quite attractive, also for non-crafters. All my collegues were thrilled, and some even proposed to organise a crafting lunch. In the train people were curious to see what I was making, while normally they look like I come from space when I'm knitting.
